Jeon Hyo-sung performed a new track on 'Gwimyo-han Iyagi 2' on August 3, revealing she's working on a solo album.

Jeon Hyo-sung is back on stage. The singer-actress performed a new song on Sinbbal Talkshow: Gwimyo-han Iyagi 2 (SBS Plus), episode 31, which aired August 3 at 10:30 PM — greeting the audience with "I've returned as an idol after a long time."
The episode, themed around '망령' (spirits/ghosts), also featured comedian Hong In-gyoo. Jeon asked the resident mudang (shamans) whether her physical features — known in the idol world as the first person with "bright red gums," and recently hearing that her eyes look clear — carry any professional weight in physiognomy terms. The mudang confirmed she has dohwa (peach blossom luck) in her face reading and called it a true entertainer's fortune. Her eyes and gums together form an attractive physiognomy tied to a self-made destiny. "Even if your parents are wealthy, your fortune requires you to become self-made," one mudang said. Jeon responded: "That's right, that's right."
The bigger news: Jeon revealed she is preparing a solo album and asked when to release it. The mudang advised building a foundation this year and pointed to spring or summer of next year as the window, predicting a bright-toned release. The reading also flagged activity in August–September 2026, possible overseas travel in November–December, and a major fortune cycle entering next year.
(A shaman telling you your comeback timing — not the most conventional A&R meeting, but here we are.) Jeon called the session "so fun" before it wrapped.
