Jihyo x Shenseea 'Distant Lover' gets physical single album with unreleased remixes, out September 28
MusicCow is dropping a physical single for Jihyo and Shenseea's collab, with sped-up, acapella, and radio edit versions never heard before.

TWICE's Jihyo and Jamaican artist Shenseea are getting a physical single album for their collaboration Distant Lover. MusicCow set the release for September 28.
The album has the original track plus three remixes that haven't come out yet: a sped-up version, an acapella, and a radio edit. Inside the physical package: a CD, seven types of photocards, a folded poster, two types of stickers, and a random scratch card.
Preorders are live now through Yes24, Hot Tracks, and Aladin until August 25.
Distant Lover came from MusicCow's Fandom Project, a platform that connects domestic and international artists while letting fans participate in the music. Jihyo's vocals sit over Shenseea's dancehall production. Lyrically, it's about a "situationship"—that gray zone between friendship and romance.
(Korean press calls Shenseea a "global dancehall queen," which checks out beyond K-pop too.)
A MusicCow rep said the album was "prepared so fans can directly own and long remember the moment when Jihyo and Shenseea met."
