KiiiKiii wins Melon Music Choice at 2026 TIMA in Hong Kong

KiiiKiii picked up the Melon Music Choice award at the TME live International Music Awards 2026 (TIMA), held August 22 at Hong Kong Kai Tak Stadium. It was the five-member Starship Entertainment group's first time on the TIMA stage.

They performed 404 (New Era) and Pop Off Pop Off back-to-back. 404 (New Era) is the lead single off their second mini album and swept music chart and music broadcast number ones. Pop Off Pop Off — the title track from their third mini album WhyKiiiKiii — hit number one on YouTube Music Video Trending Worldwide and landed in the upper tier of major domestic and international charts.

Since debut, the group's rise has been steep. Their debut single I DO ME earned a spot on Rolling Stone's list of 2025's most anticipated rookies and swept rookie awards at major ceremonies. Forbes highlighted their placement on Billboard's best K-pop list, pointing to their musical competitiveness and potential.

"It is an honor to stand on the TIMA stage for the first time, and I am very happy and grateful to receive the Melon Music Choice award," the group said. They credited their official fan club TiKi and listeners for the recognition, pledging to keep delivering "diverse and pleasant music and performances."

KiiiKiii will continue promoting Pop Off Pop Off through music broadcasts and content activities. The WhyKiiiKiii era is not slowing down.
