Lee Moon-se posted a photo with Shin Seung-hun on Aug. 8, joking that prep for a summer song collab became a long chat instead—all while working on his 17th studio album.

Lee Moon-se posted a friendship photo with Shin Seung-hun on August 8. His caption took a playful shot at his fellow veteran: "We met to prepare Shin Seung-hun's summer song for the world, but broadcast preparation took a back seat. This friend's chatting is no joke."
The meeting ties to a project Lee is calling 신.여.세 — shorthand for Shin Seung-hun's summer song. The post makes clear the actual prep work was secondary to conversation.
This photo arrives as Lee Moon-se works on his 17th regular album. He previewed a self-composed track from the record, My Blues (마이 블루스), during his recent arena tour. 2025-2026 이문세 더 베스트 (The Best) ran across five cities: Gwangju, Seoul, Daejeon, Busan, Daegu. Six sold-out shows between November 2025 and January 2026. Combined with the preceding 2024-2025 씨어터 (Theatre) 이문세 tour, he reached approximately 170,000 audience members across both runs.
Lee debuted in 1978 as MC on the broadcast program 세븐틴. His first album, 나는 행복한 사람 (I Am a Happy Person), came out in 1983. He hosted the iconic radio show 별이 빛나는 밤에 (The Night the Stars Shine) from 1985 to 1996. Since July 7, 2025, he's been back on MBC FM4U with 안녕하세요 이문세입니다 (Hello, This is Lee Moon-se).
He holds the Golden Disc Award (대상) for 사랑이 지나가면 (When Love Passes By) and the MBC Radio Golden Mouse Award. Every year since 1987, he has run charity performances for patients with muscular dystrophy.
