MINIMANI's Yoo Soo-hyun, 34, posted photos from her Aug. 29 TBC Gayo Academy appearance, balancing solo work with her group duties.
Yoo Soo-hyun showed up at TBC Gayo Academy on August 29 in a white shirt and black dress, sharing snapshots from the event.
At 34, she leads the two-member girl group MINIMANI as vocalist and performer. The lineup now includes Yoo and Han Song-i. A third member, Choi Rin, was part of the group at its start before it became a duo.
MINIMANI debuted in 2021 with 멈춰 (STOP). They kept moving: 나에게, then 콸콸콸 (PUO PUO) with its bright, playful energy. A year-end digital single, 올해도 좋았어 (This Year Was Good), came in 2022.
Yoo's solo work is picking up steam. She released 내가 낸데 (I'LL PAY) in 2024 and took a songwriting credit. This year brought 짜릿하게 under CMG초록별 — an EDM trot track built on brass and a hook-heavy melody.
Before MINIMANI, she was in Delight, May Queen, Flash, and Walwari. She also competed on TV Chosun's Miss Trot 3, performing "조선의 남자" in the active division B bracket. Four groups before landing here — the résumé is not short.
