Nam Bo-ra ran her mom's side dish shop while heavily pregnant — and says it fulfilled a lifelong dream
Eldest of 13 siblings, Nam Bo-ra ran her mother's side dish shop for three months while pregnant—then gave birth to a son on June 15.

She appears on KBS2 Shin Sang Chulsi Pyeon's Restaurant on August 20 at 8:30 PM to talk about spending three months managing the third branch of her mother's operation. "I've been in charge of this branch for 3 months," she said on the show. "My dream since childhood was to be a CEO, and I've achieved it."
Bo-ra is the eldest among 13 siblings. The family first appeared on MBC's Sunday Sunday Night — Angels' Chorus in 2005. She made her acting debut the following year in KBS2's Look Back and Smile (2006), later playing Princess Min-hwa in the 2012 drama The Moon That Embraces the Sun.
She married her husband on May 10 last year. On June 15 this year she gave birth to a son. The shop work happened right up until the end of her pregnancy—which is why the episode's big reveal is her back view showing almost nothing.
