Seo In-young and Lee Ji-hyun clash on marriage advice in new YouTube video

Seo In-young stopped by the beauty salon where former Jewelry member Lee Ji-hyun works as marketing director. The conversation turned to marriage, and they landed on completely different sides.

Lee Ji-hyun's résumé speaks for itself. She married a non-celebrity man in 2013, had two kids, divorced by mutual agreement in 2016, remarried an ophthalmologist in 2017, then divorced again in 2020. Now she's raising both children alone and running her own salon after recently obtaining a cosmetology license. Her message was direct: "You shouldn't just do it. You need to be careful."

Seo In-young married a non-celebrity businessman in February 2023 and announced a consensual divorce in November 2024. She's planning a second wedding — this time to Choi Ji-hoon, CEO of content creative company NP (엔피, a Comtus Media affiliate) — in the second half of this year. Her philosophy couldn't have been more different. "Do it when they ask you to," she said. "Once that moment passes, it might never come again."

Seo even pointed at Lee mid-conversation: "Look at this unnie. She's been twice and come back." Lee didn't push back.

They also talked about the reality of salon work. Lee said breaks are practically nonexistent — "It's really 10 minutes" — and admitted that help with childcare or housework would change everything. When Seo suggested she find a man who could help, Lee shut that down immediately: "To meet a man who can help, I need time to meet someone, but I don't even have time to sleep."
