Seo In-young reveals father's blunt reaction to her divorce confession on YouTube birthday special
Seo In-young's YouTube birthday special on Sept. 23, 2026 featured lookalike guests, a TMI quiz, and her father's blunt response to her divorce confession.
"You made the mess, you clean it up"
Singer Seo In-young's YouTube channel 개과천선 서인영 aired a birthday party special on September 23, 2026. The TMI quiz segment delivered the episode's sharpest moment: when she confessed her divorce to her father, his first words were "니가 싼 똥 니가 치워" — roughly, "You made the mess, you clean it up."
Another answer hit just as hard. A doctor during her fifth nose surgery told her: "I can't put anything else in. You'll have to have fat removed from your buttocks."
The birthday party lineup
The setup was simple. A lookalike-themed party with a 1-million-won prize for the best Seo In-young impersonator. Guests arrived one by one.
Kang Yu-mi showed up in full lookalike makeup and took Seo In-young's seat. Lee Jae-yul served as MC and recreated a dance Seo In-young performed on You Quiz. Cho Hye-ryeon dressed as a choir member. Brian arrived in a police uniform, sporting Seo In-young's water park nails—then asked, dead serious: "How do women live with these nails?" Sam Hamington remarked that everyone looked "creepy enough not to show up." His son Bentley wore a t-shirt that read 아들 (son) and sat nearby with a sullen expression.
The final guest, billed only as Kuromi, turned out to be a member of dance team Hook. She put on a high-level performance. Seo In-young was visibly moved.
Noh Sa-yeon crashes the party
Veteran singer Noh Sa-yeon appeared as a last-minute guest. The two have history—they appeared together on the variety show 영웅호걸. Before seeing a lookalike photo of Noh Sa-yeon, Seo In-young's take: "라지 사이즈" (large size).
When the contest wrapped, Bentley won. His explanation for why his father didn't: "너무 뚱뚱해서 안 닮았다" — too fat to look alike.
Seo In-young also commented on an old photo of herself, noting plainly: "That was before I got double eyelids."
(A 1-million-won prize going to a child in a sulk-face t-shirt is very on-brand for this channel.)
