The names doing the heavy lifting
Volleyball legend Kim Yeon-kyung made the cut. Kim Yu-jung proved her range this year in 100 Days of Lies. Director Jang Hang-jun arrives off a massive 2026. His film The Man Living with the King crossed 16 million admissions. (That's a lot of clout concentrated in one presenter row.)
The ceremony broadcasts live worldwide via MnetPlus and global digital platforms.
A show that's been running since 1999
MAMA AWARDS is CJ ENM's flagship music awards show. It launched in 1999 as Mnet 영상음악대상. The name stuck for ten years before a 2009 rebrand to Mnet Asian Music Awards. Starting in 2022, it became MAMA AWARDS.
