Kim Goo-ra's son Gree announces marriage plans on E Channel variety show
Rapper Gree, son of broadcaster Kim Goo-ra, announced he's preparing to marry his girlfriend during a November 5 appearance on E Channel's '서인영의 유행꼰대'.

Gree drops the marriage news mid-episode
Gree, 29, told the cast of E Channel's Seo In-young's Trendy Geezer (서인영의 유행꼰대) that he is currently preparing to marry his girlfriend. The announcement came during episode 6, which aired November 5, when Gree asked the show to bring him back for a future "marriage" episode.
His girlfriend waited through his entire military service. Gree completed his mandatory discharge from the Marine Corps in January 2026, and a Jeju Island photo posted on her SNS account had already hinted at the relationship publicly. Gree said he has no SNS accounts of his own: "My girlfriend wanted to post photos, so I did. She waited for me during military service, so accommodating her is what a man's life is about. It's more important than money."
The money episode, the 300% stock win, and the dad jokes
The episode's theme was money. Gree appeared as a self-described financial rookie who used 20 million won saved through a military savings account to buy a car after discharge. He also disclosed a 300% stock profit he had already converted to cash.
On his father's financial advice, Gree was candid: Kim Goo-ra recommends everything from real estate to individual stock buy-in timing, but the quality of the tips varies enough that "even my own father, there are times I really hate him — I wonder if I'm a child he picked up." (He did add that matching his father's wealth would require "going to the military 50 times.")
Host Seo In-young greeted Gree warmly, saying she remembered seeing him as a baby on TV and couldn't adjust to how grown-up he'd become.
Gree first appeared on television in 2006 on KBS 2TV's Bad Dad Club (불량아빠클럽) and debuted as a rapper in 2016.
