Shin So-yul goes short, claps back at her own agency head — and she's in Tving's 'Unique Romance'
Shin So-yul debuted a new haircut on social media Aug. 21, sparking a playful spat with her agency rep — and she has a Tving drama coming later this year.
Shin So-yul cut her hair, posted the proof, and immediately had to deal with her own agency head.
On August 21, the actress shared a short video on her personal account captioned: "I cut my hair before becoming a triangle kimbap. It got shorter than I thought but I like it." Agency representative Im Dong-guk was not as relaxed — he responded to the photo with "Are you crazy" and "Why did you cut it so short."
Shin So-yul was unbothered. "The agency representative is just grumbling for no reason," she wrote, "but it seems he's being wary and jealous because I'm better-looking than him."
The 1985-born actress debuted in 2007 with the film Gung-nyeo. Her resume includes Lawless Lawyer, Heartman, Reply 1997, and Good Partner. She married musical actor Kim Ji-chul in 2019.
Next up: she's cast in the Tving drama Unique Romance (유일무이 로맨스), set to drop in the second half of the year.
