Siaya win at 2026 KWDA, kick off 5-city tour as 15-year comeback hits full stride

Siaya picked up the K World Dream Listener's Choice Award at the 2026 KWDA on August 27 at Kintex in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province. The win capped a comeback that started building in March.

Nam Gyu-ri, Kim Yeon-ji, and Lee Bo-ram returned this year for their 20th anniversary with First, Again, their fourth full-length album. The title track Stay is an electronic dance number. Park Geun-tae and Kim Do-hoon produced it—the same team behind the group's best work. Dance crew HOOK joined the live performance. Nam Gyu-ri wore smoky makeup and urban styling.

The rollout kicked off in March when pre-release track Even So, We (그럼에도, 우린) debuted at #1 on Genie Music's latest release chart. TV and radio appearances stacked up: SBS Miserable Our Kids, MBC Radio Star, JTBC Newsroom, SBS Power FM's Two O'Clock Escape Cult Show and Bae Sung-jae's Ten, MBC FM4U's Kim Shin-young's Noon Hope Song. They performed at Yonsei University's Akaraka festival for the first time in 17 years. The members had apparently been asking each other, "Will today's college students even know us?"

They got their answer. The national tour 'THE FAN' opens August 29–30 at Kyung Hee University Peace Hall in Seoul. Busan follows September 5 at KBS Hall, then Daegu on September 12 at EXCO Convention Hall. Two more cities are coming for a total of five stops. The setlist includes a mega-hit medley, live stages for Stay and other new tracks, and a collaboration with a special guest yet to be named.
