Big Naughty closed Chapter 1 with 'Nostalgia' on Aug. 31 and promised a full-length album—roughly 50 tracks—when he returns from military service.
Chapter 1 closed, Chapter 2 already promised
Big Naughty (빅나티) begins military service as a social service worker on September 10. Two days before, he appeared on KBS Cool FM's Pol Kim's Gayo Gwangjang to explain what's next.
He dropped Nostalgia (노스탈지아) on August 31 as his final release before enlistment—the close of Chapter 1. On air, when asked what Chapter 2 looks like, he didn't hedge: a full-length album to start, packed with "about 50 songs."
The bet that's now on record
Host Pol Kim pressed him. Big Naughty made it binding. "If I cannot release it," he said, "I will do the makeup and sing the song that hyung wants at the place he wants on Gayo Gwangjang." Pol Kim seized the moment and locked in the stakes: shirtless, sagging pants, singing Neoreul Manna (너를 만나) at the Han River.
That clip will haunt him for years. (No pressure.)
Into service
Big Naughty announced his enlistment himself: "I will faithfully do my best in service and view it as an opportunity to become more mature and grow."
The 50-song album waits on the other side.
