BTOB's Ilhoon shares handwritten note on rest after 3-night song camp
BTOB's Jung Ilhoon posted a handwritten note asking what a restriction-free rest day would look like, complete with cross-and-crescent nail art.
The note and the nail art
Jung Ilhoon (정일훈) uploaded a post on the 24th. It showed a handwritten note with the word 휴식 (rest) and a question: "If given a day to rest without any restrictions?" His nails in the same shot featured a cross and crescent moon design on a black and light-pink background.
The timing mattered. He'd just wrapped ILHOON SONG CAMP, a 3-day 4-night writing retreat he ran with various musicians.
The songwriter behind the question
Ilhoon is BTOB's main rapper and handles his own lyrics and composition. His solo work dates back to 2018, when his first mini-album Big wave came entirely self-written. A 2019 digital single Spoiler (feat. Babylon) followed, then 2024's Lullaby, also self-composed.
He's stacked credits elsewhere too. A feature and co-write on Neon's Door (feat. 정일훈). A lyricist credit on UNIVERSE LEAGUE's 2025 digital single UNIVERSE (그 막이 열리면 닿을 메시지). Two more 2025 singles—moonwalk and jamesdean—dropped in quick succession.
The Adam series

Beyond music, Ilhoon appeared in the tvN drama PLAY GUIDE and MBC every1's 웹툰히어로 툰드라쇼 in the early 2010s. He served as DJ on MBC 표준FM's IDOL RADIO. The handwritten question about rest, then, is not exactly rhetorical.
