BTOB's Peniel shares running and injury-prevention routine
Peniel (신동근, 32) shared his post-run recovery playbook on Oct. 15: ice therapy, bath salts, stretching—all born from past injuries.

Ice packs, bath salts, and a strict stretch schedule
BTOB's Peniel (신동근, 32) laid out his running and injury-management routine on October 15. The lead rapper and main dancer of the six-member group detailed exactly what keeps his body in shape after a run.
"Since I've been injured before, after running I always ice my knees and Achilles," he wrote. On especially exhausting days he takes half-body baths with bath salt and stretches before and after every run.
Past injuries aren't just a casual mention—they're the reason for the caution.
A solo run that's been building since 2019
Peniel's solo work has accumulated steadily. He dropped digital single B.O.D in 2019, then FLY23, Flip, and Valentine before Story of My L:ife in 2024. The title track MIoBI (Make It or Break It) pulled in hundreds of thousands of MV views. This year brought IDKI (I Don't Know If) on May 22, with Peniel co-writing the lyrics.
He also made a special appearance as Junho in Netflix's XO, Kitty Season 3, which dropped April 2.
