Chungha drops 'México' seven months after 'Save me', M Countdown debut set for Sept 3

Chungha is back. She dropped digital single México on September 1 across streaming platforms, marking her first active promotion cycle in roughly seven months.

Her last release was Save Me, a February digital single for her birthday. Seven months is a long wait. México changes that.

NOVV directed the music video, reuniting with Chungha after multiple performance video collaborations. Performance crew LACHICA joined the shoot to push the track's intensity higher. The MV unfolds against a backdrop of Mexico's vast natural landscape, where Chungha moves through choreography centered on finger and floor work. It ends on a single image: thunder rumbles, her eyes open, then she stands in falling rain—smiling.

(That rain ending is going to live rent-free in people's heads for a while.)
