D.O.'s fourth mini album lands September 8

D.O. (도경수) is releasing his fourth mini album DOPAMINE on September 8. He posted two tracklist images to his official SNS channels at midnight on September 2.

Five tracks make up the album:

• "Sing It Loud"
• "Dancing Party"
• "Guitarist" (title track)
• "Don't You"
• "Dear"

'Guitarist' brings back PENOMECO

The title track "Guitarist" rests on R&B and Soul. Restrained rhythm, guitar sound, D.O.'s vocals. PENOMECO, who previously co-wrote "Fit" and "DUMB" with D.O., returns as a lyricist.

The album spans R&B, acoustic, and disco. It frames what the release describes as excitement building over ordinary daily life, love seeping into the heart, and the subtle pleasure that comes with it.

A year between releases

DOPAMINE arrives one year after the digital single "DUMB" (September 2025) and one year and two months after his first full-length album BLISS (July 2025). Two gaps, one comeback — D.O. is clearly pacing himself.

The album expresses a bolder emotional stance toward love across its genre range, with D.O.'s voice as the through-line holding the narrative together.
