E'LAST's Won-jun and newcomer Kwon Yu-jung lead 'Subscribe Romance Season 2,' premiering Sept. 18

New leads, same AI-dating premise

Subscribe Romance Season 2 (구독연애 시즌2) premieres September 18, 2026 at 6:00 PM. The entire cast is new. Both leads came through public auditions.

Won-jun, formerly of boy group E'LAST, takes the male lead. He's recently wrapped group activities and is moving into solo work. Kwon Yu-jung, a newcomer who won out over a competitive audition field, plays opposite him.

The show centers on an AI-based dating subscription service. Season 1 used the same premise, starring Lee Jae-jun of group Ineoreminnit and Lee Yu-jung of girl group LIGHTSUM. CMG초록별 and 내츄럴리뮤직 produce.

What the poster teases

The main poster drops two lines of dialogue hinting at romantic tension: "I started this as a joke..." and "My taste has changed. Because of who..."

Yang Jae-hoon, CEO of 내츄럴리뮤직, credited Season 1's reception for making Season 2 happen.

"Thanks to the great love shown for the romance between Lee Jae-jun and Lee Yu-jung in Season 1, we were able to present Season 2 with even higher completeness through thorough public auditions and in-depth production processes."

He added that viewers should look forward to "the fresh synergy between new leads Won-jun and Kwon Yu-jung, and the immersive development unique to short-form content."
