Daniel Lindemann becomes a dad — daughter named Kim Ria after Korean wife's surname
Daniel Lindemann announced his daughter's birth on Oct. 30, three years after marrying a Korean non-celebrity.

Daniel Lindemann's daughter arrived Oct. 29
German-born broadcaster Daniel Lindemann posted the news on his SNS account on Oct. 30: "Yesterday, 'Kim Ria' was born. Both mother and baby are healthy. Thank you to everyone who sent blessings."
The baby's German name is Ria Sophie Lindemann. Her Korean name, Kim Ria, takes the surname of Lindemann's Korean wife — a detail he highlighted in the post.
Three years of marriage, permanent residency, and now a daughter
Lindemann married his Korean non-celebrity partner in 2023, after roughly two years of dating. He announced the pregnancy last June. Before the birth, he disclosed that he had obtained Korean permanent residency, news that drew considerable attention.
Lindemann first became known to Korean audiences through JTBC's Abnormal Summit. He has stayed active in the country through programs including Talk Correspondent 25 and various YouTube projects.
