BESTie's 2013 track "Conditions of Love" charts 13 years on after TikTok revival

A 13-year-old song hits Melon TOP100

연애의 조건 (Conditions of Love) dropped in 2013. Thirteen years later, BESTie's debut single re-entered the Melon TOP100, fueled by clips circulating across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. It peaked at No. 48 on Melon TOP100 and reached No. 58 on the daily chart.

The spark came October 29. A choreography video posted to 다혜가다했다DAHYE showed all four members—Hyeyeon, Yuji, Dahye, and Haelyeong—performing together for the first time in roughly 13 years. The upload was titled BESTie - 연애의 조건 안무영상 2026.ver.

The group announced their full reunion on October 17, marking the song's 13th anniversary. BESTie debuted in 2013 with 두근두근, then released 연애의 조건, THANK U VERY MUCH, Hot Baby, and Excuse Me before splitting up.

Chart spread across multiple markets

The revival went global. On YouTube Music's Popular Songs TOP100, 연애의 조건 ranked No. 12 in Korea, No. 17 in Taiwan, and No. 44 in Vietnam. Japan's Oricon Streaming Rapid Rise Chart put it at No. 3, with No. 9 on the Oricon YouTube Short Chart. Shazam showed No. 1 in Korea, Vietnam, and Thailand.

(Four members who spent years in completely different careers—Hyeyeon as a trot singer, Yuji as a musical actor, Dahye as a solo artist, Haelyeong as an actor—reuniting for a chart run in 2026 was not predicted.)

First music show stage in roughly 4,000 days

BESTie performs 연애의 조건 on MBC Show! Music Core October 31. Their first complete-group music broadcast stage in approximately 4,000 days.
