Hyoyeon and Jung Eun-ji's daily lives take 'Jeon Cham Si' to 5.1% peak ratings

MBC's Jeon Cham Si (Episode 414, aired September 5) pulled a 5.1% per-minute peak rating with Girls' Generation's Hyoyeon and Apink's Jung Eun-ji as its subjects.

Hyoyeon's episode centered on the people who've stuck around: a dorm auntie from her trainee days, a makeup artist since debut, a hair artist, and a manager who's been there for six years. That manager dropped a bomb when he named Yoona as his favorite Girls' Generation member. Hyoyeon didn't hide her reaction. She explained her choice to lead the unit '효리수' simply: "I wanted to be the most mischievous." The episode also caught choreography practice for the unit's track Skibidi, filmed with Yuri and Sooyoung.

Jung Eun-ji's solo prep and the manager she fought to keep

Jung Eun-ji is prepping a solo album and concert. Her days involve high-intensity strength training and boxing with UFC fighter Park Hyun-sung. The boxing footage alone probably carried the segment.

But the real draw was her manager—a seven-year friend and five-year collaborator. Jung Eun-ji spent two years convincing him to take the role full-time, then made keeping him a non-negotiable condition when she signed with her new agency. On her birthday, he gave her a chair and said: "As a manager and friend, I hope we can be together."
