Hyoyeon found out about Tiffany and Byeon Yo-han from TV — and she was the last to know

Hyoyeon learned the news like the rest of us

Hyoyeon was the last Girls' Generation member to find out about Tiffany's relationship with actor Byeon Yo-han. She learned it from a broadcast, same as the fans.

Appearing on MBC's Jeonjijeokin Chamgyeon Sijeom on September 5, Hyoyeon said, "I found out by watching the broadcast." The hurt was real. "I felt a bit disappointed. I wondered why I was the last one."

The episode followed Hyoyeon's daily life with her manager of nine years. When Tiffany's relationship came up, she didn't hold back. Her first reaction: "I was very surprised." Then she sat with it. "I thought they matched so well."

But she's still in the dark on the details. "I still don't know the dating story," Hyoyeon said. "I'm curious how they dated since they're both famous actors and singers." She also wasn't sure what to call Byeon Yo-han now—that particular awkwardness of suddenly having a near-brother-in-law.

Meanwhile, Apink had a very different situation

Also on the show, Jung Eun-ji of Apink talked about how her group handled member Yoon Bo-mi's relationship with Rado. The difference was immediate. "We all knew," Eun-ji said.
