Ji Sang-ryeol joined hip-hop crew GC Hammer on the Sept. 12 KBS 2TV episode of 'Salim-haneun Namja-deul Season 2' after Mighty Mouse rewrote his rap bars.
Two months in, Ji Sang-ryeol finally makes the cut
Ji Sang-ryeol is officially in GC Hammer. On September 12, KBS 2TV's Salim-haneun Namja-deul Season 2 showed him finish a two-month push into hip-hop with a studio session at Mighty Mouse's place, where he wrote lyrics from scratch.
The path wasn't smooth. Trooplex spotted it first: Ji Sang-ryeol's rap had no rhyme scheme. Mighty Mouse rewrote the bars. By session's end, his spot in the crew was locked.
One line stuck. Ji Sang-ryeol wrote '너희는 늙어봤냐. 나는 젊어봤다' — "Have you ever been old? I've been young" — and it landed. Gyeongri said she liked it. Mighty Mouse: "I didn't expect to be moved."
Gyeongri wasn't kind about everything else. His look was "bad." The hairpiece? "A dog hair wig." Eun Ji-won, watching, offered perspective: "When I first started rapping, I also received all that help."
The Shin Bo-ram question
Mid-episode, Eun Ji-won asked straight up: "Did you break up with Boram?" Park Seo-jin countered—Ji Sang-ryeol had told him the song was partly for Boram noona too.
On YouTube channel 양락1번지 (Yangnak 1st Street), Ji Sang-ryeol was shown weighing a move to Seoul for his girlfriend, TV host Shin Bo-ram.
