Mighty Mouth's first original single of 2026 drops September 16, featuring Nine Muses' Gyeongri and comedian Ji Sang-ryeol's rapper alter ego.
A TV rap test turned into a real record
Mighty Mouth — Chuplex (추플렉스) and Shorry (쇼리) — will release Soju Night (소주밤) (Feat. 경리, G.C 해머) on September 16 at 6 PM through online music platforms. Their first original track of 2026. Nine months have passed since CHRISTMAS PLAN in December 2025.
The features are what matter here. Gyeongri (경리) from Nine Muses (나인뮤지스) appears alongside G.C Hammer, the rapper persona of comedian Ji Sang-ryeol (지상렬), who debuted under that name in 2007. The collaboration started on KBS2's 살림남, where Ji Sang-ryeol attempted a rapper comeback roughly 20 years after his original debut. Mighty Mouth proposed a rap test on air. That led to a conversation about making music together.
18 years in, still adding names to the credits
Mighty Mouth debuted in 2008 and are marking their 18th anniversary this year. Their hits include 사랑해, 에너지, 톡톡, and 랄랄라. Earlier in 2026 they remixed the back catalog: 랄랄라 (Feat. 민영) in March and 톡톡 (Tok Tok) (Feat. 딘딘, 소야) in June. Soju Night is the first new composition in that stretch.
