URBAN ZAKAPA's Jo Hyun-ah posted her full Soundplanet Festival setlist weeks after the trio dropped single album '7' with 'Blue Diamond' and 'Unboxing'.
15 songs, one festival night
Jo Hyun-ah, vocalist for co-ed trio URBAN ZAKAPA, revealed her Soundplanet Festival setlist. Thirteen main-stage tracks: Beautiful Day, 내게 다시, Blue Diamond, Unboxing, Just The Two Of Us, Just A Feeling, 서울밤, 목요일 밤, Get, 안녕, The One, 그때의 나 그때의 우리. Then two encores—널 사랑하지 않아 and Stay.
Blue Diamond and Unboxing both landed on URBAN ZAKAPA's single album 7, released on the 11th of last month. The group—Park Yong-in, Kwon Soon-il, and Jo Hyun-ah—hadn't released new music in a while. Jo said she hoped listeners would find their own "Blue Diamond" and "treasure precious moments in their hearts."
From 2009 debut to vocal mentor
Jo Hyun-ah debuted in 2009 with digital single 커피를 마시고 (Main Ver.). She's built a resume outside the band. Runner-up on King of Masked Singer episode 33 as '치명적인 팜므파탈' (Deadly Femme Fatale). Vocal mentor on idol survival show The Unit. Writing credit on 바다아이, a track from Yoon-ha's mini album Just Listen.
In 2024 she revealed she'd lost 10 kg in 26 days through diet and lifestyle adjustments. These days she runs a YouTube series, 조현아의 평범한 목요일 밤 (Jo Hyun-ah's Ordinary Thursday Night), mixing music with daily-life content.
