Kim Sejeong posts Paris photo as she builds dual career under BH Entertainment

Paris, a new agency, and a packed résumé

Kim Sejeong posted a photo from Paris on September 4. She sat on a bench along a tree-lined street, chin resting on her hand. The caption read "오랜만에 파리" ("It's been a while since Paris").

Six months earlier, in March 2026, she'd ended her exclusive contract with Jellyfish Entertainment and signed with BH Entertainment. Just before that, she ran a five-city fan concert tour, 2026 KIM SEJEONG FAN CONCERT '열 번째 편지', hitting Seoul, Taipei, Manila, Hong Kong, and Yokohama between January and March 2026.

A decade of parallel tracks

Sejeong debuted in 2016 with IOI on their mini album Chrysalis. That same year she joined gugudan with Act.1 The Little Mermaid and launched her solo career with the Jelly Box single 꽃길.

Her releases since:

• 2023 — full-length album 문(門)
• 2025 — single album 태양계, a reinterpretation of a Sung Si-kyung song

The acting side has kept pace. She took her first lead drama role in 2017 as Ra Eun-ho in KBS 2TV's School 2017. Then came Do Ha-na in OCN's Extraordinary You (2020–2021), reprised in tvN's Extraordinary You 2: Counter Punch in 2023. She played Shin Ha-ri in SBS's Office Blind Date (2022) and Chae Yong-ju in ENA's Intoxicating Romance (2024). Her current project is MBC's 이강에는 달이 흐른다, where she plays Park Dal-i.
