Trot singer Lee Chan-won wrapped his nationwide 'Chan-ga: A Brilliant Day' tour with a Seoul encore, then pivoted straight to promoting his JTBC variety debut on '톡파원 25시'.

Lee Chan-won (이찬원, 30) closed his nationwide tour concert 찬가: A Brilliant Day with an encore in Seoul. Within days, he was already pushing his JTBC variety slot. On the 16th he posted a photo—striped shirt, green backdrop—asking fans to catch 톡파원 25시 at 9:50 PM on JTBC.
September alone was packed. He performed at the Goesan Red Pepper Festival and the Changnyeong Onion and Garlic Song Festival. He appeared in the 15th anniversary special of 한국인의 밥상 (Korean Dining Table), cooking and singing on camera. His track 오늘은 왠지 (Why Today) sits nominated in the KM Chart K-MUSIC category.
Lee Chan-won broke through on 미스터트롯 (Mr. Trot) in 2020. He finished 3rd with audition track 진또배기 (Jinttobaegi) and was named the inaugural "Miss." His mini album ..선물 (Gift) landed a rookie award in the physical album category. Single 편의점 (Convenience Store) became his first music-broadcast No. 1—the first trot track to top Music Bank in years.
He followed with self-composed 참 좋은 날 (A Really Good Day). His debut solo concert 찬스타임 (Chan's Time) ran 27 shows across 9 cities. At the 16th Golden Ticket Awards he won two trophies: domestic concert musician category and popularity award.
The KBS Entertainment Awards tell their own story. Excellence award in 2022. Best award in 2023. Grand prize in 2024.
He made a cameo in drama 바람과 구름과 비 (Wind, Cloud, and Rain). On November 1, 2020—his birthday—he donated 233,233,000 won to 사단법인 사랑의 달팽이 (Love Snail) to support people with hearing impairments. (The number 233 matching his birth date is not accidental.)
