Lee Chan-won returns to Changnyeong Onion & Garlic Song Festival for 9th edition
Trot singer Lee Chan-won returns to the Changnyeong stage on Sept. 11, three years after his first appearance at the festival.
Lee Chan-won back on the Changnyeong stage
Lee Chan-won takes the special stage at Changnyeong Public Sports Park on September 11 at 7 PM for the 9th Changnyeong Onion and Garlic Song Festival. He performed here three years ago as an invited singer.
MBC Gyeongnam runs the festival, which doubles as Changnyeong County's main event for promoting its agricultural products. Onion cultivation started in Changnyeong, and the county produces roughly 22% of Korea's garlic.
10 finalists, one singer certification on the line
Ten competitors who advanced from preliminaries will perform on the main stage. The grand prize and gold prize winners each get an official singer certification certificate. Broadcaster Kim Seung-hyun hosts.
Other invited performers include Choi Ji-ye, who won the 4th Changnyeong Onion Song Festival, plus Hyun Ok and Yu Seong-hwa.
