RBW's LIT808 Series 2 drops with AI-made MV for "Alice in Wonderland" main track
RBW's mentee project LIT808 returns with five tracks reinterpreting world literature as K-pop, complete with an AI-animated music video.
21 mentees, five fairy tales, one AI-built MV
RBW dropped the second series of LIT808 on September 3. Audio and music video hit streaming platforms at noon the same day.
The album lives under The Beginning Project, a mentee collaboration within the 2026 Content Creative Talent Mentorship Program. Twenty-one music-field mentees led the work, each taking a piece of world literature and reinterpreting it through their own lens. LIT808 fuses "LIT" (Literature) with 808, the Dewey classification code for literature. The series translates literary works from Korea and beyond into K-pop.
Series 2 has five tracks:
- LIT808 - 이상한 나라의 앨리스 (Alice in Wonderland) — main track
- 벌거벗은 임금님 (The Emperor's New Clothes)
- 인어공주 (The Little Mermaid)
- 금도끼 은도끼 (The Golden Axe and the Silver Axe)
- 미운 오리 새끼 (The Ugly Duckling)
Both vocal and instrumental tracks made the cut.
The MV a video mentee built with AI
A video-field mentee created the main track's music video using AI technology. It renders Alice in Wonderland's fairy tale world as cute game-screen graphics. The mentee program extends beyond music into production work.
