The trot singer known for his deep "cave bass" voice follows up March's ballad version with a new dance take on the same track.

Ryu Ji-gwang released the dance version of his single Ippeuni Kkotbuni (이쁜이 꽃분이) on September 7. The release follows the ballad version he put out in March, making this the second take on the same song within the year.
The track features guitarist Seo Chang-won and chorus vocalist Kim Hyun-a. Its lyrics center on gratitude and quiet guilt toward a partner who stayed close through turbulent times — the song's own words put it plainly: "You who stayed by my side in a shaking world / my heart is always grateful for your beautiful presence."
Ryu Ji-gwang first broke through on TV Chosun's Naeil-eun Mr. Trot in 2020, where the nickname "cave bass" (동굴 저음) stuck. He recently performed Ippeuni Kkotbuni on KBS1's Jeonkuk Norae Jarang, giving the song a live national-broadcast run ahead of today's dance version drop.
With this release, he plans to ramp up music broadcast appearances and stage activity. (A ballad-to-dance-version rollout on the same title is a patient move — six months apart, same song, different energy.)
