Kim Phil drops 'Circle' ahead of first full album in 7 years, JOURNEY out Oct 29
Kim Phil pre-released 'Circle' on Oct 23, with full album JOURNEY arriving Oct 29 — his first regular album since December 2019.
Seven years between full albums
Kim Phil dropped Circle on October 23 across streaming platforms. The full album JOURNEY follows on October 29.
JOURNEY is his first regular album since yours, sincerely in December 2019. That's roughly seven years. The release also lands as he marks his 15th debut anniversary.
He wrote and composed Circle himself. It's the second pre-release track—자유롭고 싶어 came first.
November concerts at Blue Square
Kim Phil will perform '2026 Kim Phil Concert <JOURNEY>' on November 14 and 15 at Seoul Blue Square Woori WON Banking Hall. Both nights will feature his catalog alongside new material from the album.
His agency highlighted "the new story Kim Phil will tell through regular 2nd album JOURNEY, as he has conveyed deep comfort and empathy through music."
Seven years between full-lengths is a long stretch. The pre-releases suggest something deliberate has been building.
Cheer the story
