Japanese actor Sakaguchi Kentaro announced his marriage on Sept. 6 via paid fan club site, months after a reported love triangle led him to withdraw from the Busan International Film Festival.

Sakaguchi Kentaro married a non-celebrity woman on September 6, sharing the news through his paid fan club website. He had known her since before his acting career took off. No details about her identity were released.
In his statement, he wrote: "It is personal news, but I have come to fruition with a non-celebrity woman with whom I have maintained a connection from before." He promised to keep acting: "Going forward, I will show you my continued dedication as an actor."
Last year, Shukan Bunshun reported that Sakaguchi had been living with and dating hair and makeup staff member A, three years his senior, while also involved with actress Nagano Mei. The love triangle forced him to suddenly cancel his appearance at the Busan International Film Festival.
Sakaguchi started in 2010 as a model for Men's Non-No. His acting work spans the films My Story! and Love 100 Times with You, the drama Let's Print the Second Edition!, and the Korea-Japan co-production Things That Come After Love with Lee Se-young.
He returns to screens in October in Kidnap Game, a drama set for simultaneous broadcast in Korea and Japan alongside Korean actor Lee Joon-gi. The marriage announcement lands just weeks before this high-profile project launches.
