Yoon Gai Marks First Birthday Since Going Public With Jang Ki-ha — Celebrated With Actress Kim A-young

A quiet birthday, three months into the public relationship

Yoon Gai turned 26 on September 17. She marked it with actress Kim A-young, not her boyfriend, singer-actor Jang Ki-ha. The photos went up on Instagram the same day. Her caption: "Quietly and gratefully spent this year's birthday with my unnie. Let's go slowly and bravely, us. ♥"

Kim A-young brought chrysanthemums (소국). The note on the wrapping paper said: "Dear Gai, happy birthday. The flower is a chrysanthemum. Its flower language is purity, sincerity, faithfulness, devotion, and gratitude. When I meet you, I become more sincere and pure — because you look at me truthfully and devotedly." She also commented on the post: "I love you, Gai."

Both work on Coupang Play's SNL Korea. They've stayed close since meeting there.

The 18-year gap couple, confirmed in June

Yoon Gai was born September 16, 2000. Jang Ki-ha was born February 1982. They confirmed their relationship in June—an 18-year age gap that made headlines. They first met in September 2023 on SNL Korea Season 4, where Jang Ki-ha was a fixed crew member and Yoon Gai appeared as a guest. She joined the show as a fixed cast member that same season.
