Young Taek drops 'GOGO' on September 14 with 11 of 12 tracks self-written. His five-city solo tour TAK SHOW5 kicks off in Seoul on October 3.
'GOGO' lands September 14 — 11 of 12 tracks written by Young Taek himself
Young Taek (영탁) drops his third regular album GOGO on September 14. The 12-track record follows previous hits "니가 왜 거기서 나와," "전복 먹으러 갈래," and "폼미쳤다." He wrote, composed, and arranged 11 of those 12 songs himself.
One track, "고된 떡볶이," came together with actor Ji Seung-hyeon (지승현). Young Taek publicly recorded it on KBS 2TV's Shin Sang Chul Shi Pen's Restaurant (신상출시 편스토랑), which aired recently.
Variety circuit has been running since February
The album isn't arriving cold. Young Taek joined tvN's Naked World History (벌거벗은 세계사) as a new fixed cast member on February 23. SBS's Our Neighborhood's Golden Age (우리동네 전성시대) premiered August 8 and features him alongside Lee Kyung-kyu (이경규), Din Din (딘딘), and Lee Won-il (이원일). On September 2, he appeared on KBS 2TV's Superman Is Back (슈퍼맨이 돌아왔다), spending time with comedian Kim Jun-ho's (김준호) sons Eun-woo and Jeong-woo. Four variety slots in six months is serious groundwork for a comeback.
TAK SHOW5 runs Seoul to Busan through January
2026 Young Taek Solo Concert TAK SHOW5 opens at Korea University Hwajung Gymnasium in Seoul from October 3–5. The tour then moves through Jeonju (October 24–25), Daegu (November 28–29), Incheon (December 19–20), and Busan (January 16–17). The concert series will feature new songs from GOGO on stage.
