Actress Cha Kyung-eun announces marriage to director Lee Yu-jin, reveals pregnancy
Actress Cha Kyung-eun and director Lee Yu-jin are getting married November 14—five months after they started dating. They're also expecting.

Five months from first date to wedding
Actress Cha Kyung-eun and director Lee Yu-jin announced their upcoming marriage on October 11 via a wedding-shoot vlog posted to Cha's YouTube channel, 경 은. They met on Lee's directorial debut project 길이 보이면 캐스팅해!, started dating in June, and will hold their ceremony on November 14.
Both representatives confirmed a pregnancy discovered after the couple had already secured family approval and begun wedding preparations. "We recently learned of the pregnancy," the statement read. "We are preparing to welcome the new life with joy."
Cha addresses her career head-on
Cha spoke directly about what comes next professionally. "For a while I cannot engage in acting work," she said, "but I am grateful for your support and trust in me more than in myself, and I will not lose my dream." Building a happy family outweighs any professional honor or success. She intends to do her best in whatever capacity she can.
She also acknowledged the abruptness. "Many people must have been surprised by the sudden marriage news. I feel worried and sorry to share news that might concern you."
On Lee Yu-jin, she kept it warm but brief—describing him as her most devoted YouTube viewer. (She noted it was genuinely strange to see a man appear in her own vlog while editing it.) She confirmed she has no plans to start couple vlogs.
"I hope that our marriage gives courage to many people and has a good influence on how they live," Cha said.
