Choi Yun-ji, 28, has joined the cast of Moving Season 2, the Disney+ original series, in a supporting role. Production is already underway. She's now part of the lineup for the global hit's second season.
On October 10, she posted a photo from what appears to be an indoor performance venue. She stood alongside an acquaintance with a blue stripe on her forehead, both making a V-pose. Her caption read: "소문의 낙원에 다녀왔습니다" (I visited the Rumored Paradise).
From model to leading actress
Choi Yun-ji started as a fashion and beauty brand model in 2018 and appeared on the beauty program Get It Beauty Self introducing makeup and styling. Her acting debut came in 2024 with the tvN drama Love on a Single Log (사랑은 외나무다리에서), where she played Go Hae-su. That same year she took on the role of Yoo In-young in the Netflix drama Trunk.
2025 kept her moving. She appeared in Wise Doctor's Life (언젠가는 슬기로울 전공의생활, tvN) as Lee Chae-ryung. She landed her first lead role as Lee Hyo-ri in For the First Love (첫, 사랑을 위해, tvN). She guest-appeared on tvN variety show Amazing Saturday (놀라운 토요일). She contributed to the OST for For the First Love.
In 2026, she appeared in the Netflix drama Wonderfuls (원더풀스) as Seok Ho-ran, one of the superpowered characters in the series. Moving Season 2 is her next project. Within three years of her acting debut, she'd landed two Netflix dramas, a Disney+ global franchise, and a lead credit.
