GK drops EP 'G.Race' two years after 'I DO CARE,' Itaewon show set for Oct. 30
Singer-songwriter and producer GK released the 5-track EP 'G.Race' on Oct. 27, his first project since 2024's 'I DO CARE.'

Two years, five tracks, one portmanteau title
GK dropped G.Race at noon on October 27. It's been roughly two years since I DO CARE. The title blends "Race" (경주) and "Grace" (은혜) across five tracks: pop, hip-hop, R&B, bedroom pop.
Two title tracks anchor the EP. "돈 때문에 (feat. HANSE)" sits with the weight of money and responsibility. HANSE co-wrote, co-composed, and features on it. "울어도 돼" moves in the opposite direction—a warm permission to feel hard things instead of grinding through them.
GK wrote and composed every song. He handled vocal directing and recording too. OMEGA X's Yechan (예찬) and JinE appear as featured artists. Producers SINGKI, REDIC, Ruiz, and ZEN worked across the full five-track run.
Who is GK
GK is a singer-songwriter and producer who previously worked as an artist and A&R director at Pineation. He's currently enrolled at the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.
Oct. 30 Itaewon show
Three days after the release, GK hosts a JJ Music Group concert on October 30 in Itaewon, Seoul. Label artists Chu Seojun (추서준), Choi In (최인), and Romin (로민) join him for live stages and a DJ party.
