Hyomin (T-ara): solo discography, acting credits, and 2025 marriage — a career profile
T-ara's Hyomin (Park Sun-young, 36) has spent her post-group years building a solo discography, launching two businesses, and getting married in 2025.

From T-ara to solo: the discography
Hyomin — full name Park Sun-young, age 36 — was T-ara's main rapper and lead vocal. She handled rap and chorus parts on Lovey-Dovey, DAY BY DAY, and 우리 사랑했잖아. Her Korean album credits span from T-ara's first full-length Absolute First Album and its repackage Breaking Heart through mini-albums Black Eyes (4th), Funky Town (5th), and DAY BY DAY (6th). In Japan, the group released Bo Peep Bo Peep, Jewelry Box, and Gossip Girls with her on the roster.
She launched her solo career in 2014 with a first mini-album. A second followed in 2016, a third in 2019. Between 2018 and 2019 she released digital singles including the Color trilogy and co-wrote the self-composed track 담. Her solo cut GOLD drew attention for its vocal range — high and low registers both — and her falsetto reaches into the fourth octave.
Screen credits and TV appearances
Hyomin played Yurin in horror film 기생령 and appeared as Jiho in Japanese film 연애 징크스!!!. She competed on MBC's 복면가왕 (episode 82) under the masked name 꽃게만 걷게 해줄게~ 게자리, winning round one with 사랑앓이 before advancing to round two, where she performed 난 널 사랑해 and unmasked.
Outside music
Hyomin collects cameras — she keeps multiple models in a dedicated refrigerator at home. She launched a cosmetics brand in 2019 and a clothing brand in 2021. During the 2019 Gangwon Province wildfire disaster she donated relief supplies.
She married financial professional Kim Hyun-seung (47, ten years her senior) on April 6, 2025. A recent outdoor post showed her smiling at the camera against a field backdrop, posted on the 16th.
