Ji Yeon-su announces live shopping debut after quitting gomtang restaurant job due to arm injury
Ji Yeon-su left her gomtang restaurant job due to a torn muscle injury. Now she's pivoting to live shopping and says she'll return to work once recovered.

Ji Yeon-su is moving into live shopping. A right arm injury forced her to quit her part-time job at a gomtang restaurant, but she's using the downtime to launch something new.
On October 12, she posted a video titled Ji Yeon-su Home Shopping Debut Imminent! Finding Personal Color (Waist Measurement Revealed) on her YouTube channel Yeon-su-ropda. She confirmed it directly: "I did a cosmetics introduction in Jeju last time, but this time I'm entering live shopping."
Injury put the brakes on restaurant work
She'd already mentioned the gomtang job ending because of the right arm injury. Physical therapy came first, still painful, before a clearer diagnosis arrived. Her take was straightforward: "My muscles are all torn, so I can't work." But she wasn't planning to sit around. "Once I feel a bit better, I will work again. I won't be idle."
The product, the pitch, and Suzy
The live shopping debut will showcase a skincare product she discovered through Suzy and now uses herself. "I use the same product as Suzy. I want to follow her even down to her toes," she said. On what it actually does: "There are many things I want to do at a dermatology clinic, but home care gives me this level of satisfaction."
She was honest about the nerves. "I really want to look pretty when such a big opportunity comes, but I don't know how. I'm worried. We need to find a way together." The personal color segment became a shared project with her audience, a way to get ready for the debut together.
