KATSEYE drops 'Unloveu' as official single, days before Victoria's Secret Fashion Show set

A bonus track gets its moment

KATSEYE released Unloveu as an official single on October 14, pulling the track out of its limited-edition bonus slot on their third EP WILD and putting it on all major streaming platforms. HYBE Labels uploaded a visualizer to YouTube the same day.

Member Lara co-wrote and co-composed the song with producer Ross Golan (Maroon 5, Justin Bieber) and Grammy-winning songwriter Amy Allen. Unloveu explores the aftermath of a breakup, built on what the group calls an emotional sound.

Daniela announced the release on Instagram: "unloveu out now."

Where 'WILD' stands right now

WILD debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200. By October 17, it had dropped to number 39 while holding eight consecutive weeks in the top 40. Pre-release single Animal spent 11 weeks on the Hot 100, peaking at number 32, and hit number 12 on Pop Airplay—the group's highest position on that chart. Title track Hootie Frutti climbed 51 spots to number 120 on the Global 200 in the same tracking period.

The WILD era still has momentum. An official single release extends that cycle without demanding a full new project.

KATSEYE performs at the 2026 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in Los Angeles on October 18—four days after the single drop.

Daniela placed 5th in HYBE UMG's global survival program The Debut: Dream Academy, finished in the top 10 of So You Think You Can Dance? Season 13, and took 2nd place at the Super Kids Europe international competition. She serves as main dancer and lead vocalist in the group. (Her full legal name is Daniela Andrea Avanzi Ylorente—born July 1, 2004, in Atlanta, Georgia.)

KATSEYE, a joint project between HYBE and Geffen Records, officially debuted on August 16, 2024 with EP SIS (Soft Is Strong).
