Kim Gun-mo signs with Music & New, launches 35th anniversary tour

Kim Gun-mo signed with Music & New for future music activities, the agency announced. He's marking his 35th debut anniversary. The partnership covers new songs and album releases. Kim is currently in the studio recording while running a nationwide tour in parallel.

July set the stage. Kim released 어디쯤 가고 있을까 — a track with one standout detail: it was the first time since his 1992 debut that he played acoustic guitar himself on a recording. By October 2026, the music video had 1.6 million views.

A sold-out run, then straight into the anniversary dates

Kim's momentum heading into this partnership is real. The 25-26 Live Tour KIM GUN MO. wrapped in March with every date sold out. He moved directly into the 김건모. 35TH ANNIVERSARY LIVE TOUR, which opened in Daegu on the 10th.

Remaining confirmed dates:

• October 31 — Jeonju
• December 5 — Gwangju
• December 26 — Goyang

The tour continues into 2027.

Kim debuted in 1992. His catalog built on 잘못된 만남, 핑계, and 첫인상. Thirty-five years in and still selling out arenas. Music & New has not announced a release date for the forthcoming album.
