Lee Si-young shared photos and videos from daughter Luna's first birthday celebration on Oct. 25, with son Ian joining the festivities.

Luna turns one
Actress Lee Si-young posted photos and videos from her second daughter Luna's first birthday celebration (doljanchi) on SNS on October 25. Her first son Ian was there too, smiling next to his younger sister.
"I am most grateful to Luna for growing up healthy," Lee wrote. "I received the most congratulations and love while living. Ian loves Luna so much. I ask for your continued support."
She continued: "I was grateful for even the red sunset sky and happy to be together with people I truly love. I am grateful and thankful, and I will repay this as I live."
The doljabi moment
At the doljabi fortune-telling ceremony, the host asked Lee which object she hoped Luna would pick. She said "microphone." When asked if she wanted her daughter to become an entertainer, she answered "singer." Luna reached across a table set with money, a judge's gavel, a stethoscope, and thread, and picked up the microphone.
The backstory
Lee married a businessman nine years her senior in 2017 and gave birth to Ian the following year. She announced her divorce in March of last year after eight years of marriage.
In July of last year, she disclosed that she had implanted an embryo created through IVF during her marriage, which had been kept frozen without her ex-husband's consent. The decision drew public controversy. She stated she had made the choice because the embryo's storage period was nearing expiration, and said she would take responsibility for it. Her ex-husband later stated he would also take responsibility for raising the child. Luna was born in November of last year.
