Editor Kim Min-kyung makes terrestrial MC debut on MBC's '전착시', spin-off of '전참시'
Minumsa editor Kim Min-kyung joins Jeon Hyun-moo, Kim Won-hoon, and Yoon Nam-no as MC on MBC's new obsession-themed variety spin-off, airing early November.
Kim Min-kyung spent six years as an editor at Minumsa Publishing's Overseas Literature Team. Now she's moving to the MC chair for 전지적 집착 시점 (Jeonchaksi), MBC's new spin-off variety program premiering in early November 2026. It's her first MC role on a terrestrial broadcast.
She's joined by broadcaster Jeon Hyun-moo, comedian Kim Won-hoon, and chef Yoon Nam-no. The show branches off from 전지적 참견 시점 (Jeonchamssi), ditching celebrity daily life for stories about people who loved something until the end or fell into an obsession for no clear reason.
Kim built her following through YouTube channel Minumsa TV, where her wit got her labeled the "publishing industry idol." She's appeared on tvN's You Quiz on the Block, MBC's Radio Star, and MBC FM4U's Bae Cheol-su's Music Camp. A book editor hosting variety TV doesn't happen often.
