N.Flying released their 9th mini album 'Still' and the MV for title track '잔불(Still)' on October 8, four months after their last digital single.

N.Flying's 9th mini album lands after a postponed wait
N.Flying dropped their 9th mini album Still and the music video for title track 잔불(Still) on October 8. The group had pushed the release back from September 1 to finish it properly. Four months had passed since the digital single 환절기(換節期) in June.
Seven tracks make up the album:
- 아는 결말 (Our Ending) — pre-release
- 잔불 (Still) — title track
- 고생했어 (My Dearest)
- 나를 사랑하지 않는 너에게 (Wake Up)
- 어쩌면 가장 서툰 내가 좋았어 (The Way We Were)
- 홍실 (Hongsil)
- 우주먼지 (Fading Away)
Lee Seung-hyeop (이승협) wrote and composed every track. Yoo Hoe-seung (유회승) also contributed to 나를 사랑하지 않는 너에게 (Wake Up).
The story behind '잔불'
The title track had already been previewed at N.Flying's first nationwide tour, 2026 N.Flying LIVE &CON5 : into REM, before the full album release.
Lee Seung-hyeop explained the song's origin: a fellow member told him, "Hyung, you must be tired." The comment caught him off guard. He'd never felt that way himself. "I wondered, 'does my appearance look like dying embers rather than a blazing fire to others?'" he said. "So I made it into a song."
On the lyrics: "I wrote them thinking that the moment you are feeling right now will become the hottest moment once it passes. I hope you fully feel the present just like these lyrics."
The ember metaphor carries real weight here.
N.Flying will kick off full promotional activities with Mnet's M Countdown, which aired immediately after the album's release.
