NMIXX gets Japan debut advice from Sung Si-kyung ahead of Dec. 9 best album 'N=MIXX'
NMIXX stopped by Sung Si-kyung's YouTube series a week after dropping their sixth mini album, where the veteran singer dished out advice on breaking into Japan.

NMIXX on Strange Muse and a Japan countdown
NMIXX dropped their sixth mini album Strange Muse on October 19. Seven days later, Lily, Hae-won, Seol-yun, Bae, Ji-woo, and Kyujin showed up on Sung Si-kyung's YouTube channel. The video went live October 26 on his channel "성시경 SUNG SI KYUNG" under the title "성시경의 부를텐데 l 엔믹스." They performed "ADORE U" and "Birthday Wish."
The talk turned to what comes next: Japan. Their Japan debut best album N=MIXX drops December 9. Hae-won didn't hide the nerves. "I'm nervous about the Japan debut," she said.
Sung Si-kyung's take on Japanese fans
Sung Si-kyung released his first Japanese album in 2006 and has kept up Japan activities since 2015. He pushed back on the usual script. "You don't necessarily need to be perfect," he told them, then went deeper:
"Japanese fans like to see effort. Unlike Korea where fans prefer already-perfected results, Japanese fans are moved by seeing growth, so it might actually be better." — Sung Si-kyung
He wrapped it up: "If you do well as you have been doing, it will be fine."
World tour running alongside the Japan push
NMIXX is also grinding through their first world tour, EPISODE 1: ZERO FRONTIER. The Japan debut best album release on December 9 stacks onto everything else hitting before the year closes. A lot happening in Q4 for these six.
