RIIZE drops drama-tied MV for 'Insomnia' on October 26, fan event set for Seongsu-dong
RIIZE's 'Insomnia' drops October 26 with a cinematic MV, character stories by SF author Cheon Seonran, and a four-day Seoul fan event.
Six members, six characters, one sleepless night
RIIZE releases Insomnia (인섬니아) on October 26 at midnight. The audio hits music sites and the MV lands simultaneously on the YouTube SMTOWN channel. The six-member SM Entertainment group built the rollout around a drama-tied music video: each member becomes a character trapped in a cinematic story about insomnia.
The song is acoustic pop. Lyrical guitar and vocals—calm but sorrowful—carry lyrics that map the sharpening emotions toward someone as night deepens. It fits the season.
Character drops before the MV lands
RIIZE's official SNS will post character side stories in two waves before October 26:
- October 23 at 0:00 KST — Sohee, Wonbin, Shotaro
- October 24 at 0:00 KST — Seungchan, Anton, Eunseok
Cheon Seonran (천선란), a major Korean SF author, wrote the side stories. Artist Noma (노마) illustrated them in opaque watercolor. (An unusual pairing for a K-pop single.)
Four days in Seongsu-dong
RIIZE runs RIIZE into INSOMNIA at Space S50 in Seongsu-dong, Seoul from October 26 through October 29.
