Roy Kim drops 'Cry Loud,' books first KSPO DOME solo concert for November
Roy Kim released 'Cry Loud' on Oct. 6—his third straight October single—ahead of a sold-out KSPO DOME debut concert Nov. 21–22.

Third October in a row, first KSPO DOME
Roy Kim dropped 크게 울어라 (Cry Loud) on October 6. It's his third consecutive October release, following singles in October 2024 and October 2025. The track centers on "crying" rather than love—a deliberate shift from the romantic themes that have defined much of his work.
The comeback arrives before his first-ever solo concert at KSPO DOME in November. Both November 21 and November 22 are fully sold out.
Hair transplant, headbands, and Olivia Rodrigo
Roy Kim appeared on Jo Hyun-ah's YouTube channel 조현아의 평범한 목요일 밤 (EP.72) on October 1. The conversation turned personal quickly. When Jo Hyun-ah asked if he'd had a hair transplant, he confirmed it—though he seemed caught off guard.
"It's been quite a while," he said. "Only the forehead is visible? Is it too noticeable?"
Jo Hyun-ah assured him he made the right call. She then brought up an old photo of him wearing a headband. He brushed it off: "That was 12 years ago."
Later in the episode, Roy Kim named singer Olivia Rodrigo as his current ideal type. He's drawn to people who are straightforward and have been loved. For self-care, he does Pilates and personal training, and unwinds at a sauna near his home.
