Weeks after her split from Jung Kyung-ho, the Girls' Generation member served as an honorary judge at the Mise-en-scène Film Festival alongside Jo Jung-suk.

Choi Soo-young is keeping busy. Earlier this month, she and actor Jung Kyung-ho confirmed their breakup after 14 years together. They started dating in 2012 and went public two years later.
She didn't pause. Choi Soo-young served as an honorary judge at the Mise-en-scène Film Festival alongside actor Jo Jung-suk, and spoke openly about the experience once the festival wrapped.
"The Mise-en-scène Film Festival has come to an end," she wrote. "It was a fascinating experience where I felt a subtle sense of inner intimacy with all the directors of the works I saw, as if we had already become close friends through film."
She also pointed fans toward the festival's lineup: all 44 films from the Mise-en-scène Film Festival are available on Netflix. "Each work was a different world," she said, "and the time spent looking into those worlds and sharing stories together was such a precious experience that every second felt precious."
(The timing — jumping straight into a festival judging role right after the split — says a lot without saying anything.)
Next up for Choi Soo-young: theater.
