Chef Kwon Sung-jun didn't hide his bias on the July 22 episode—weeks after Sooyoung's split from actor Jung Kyung-ho.

Chef Kwon Sung-jun declared his bias on camera. No attempt to hide it.
Episode 4 of 효리수 데뷔 프로젝트, uploaded July 22 on the YouTube channel '효연의 레벨업', featured Kwon introducing himself as "a member of the Girls' Generation fan club '화수은화' and a chef born from Girls' Generation." He then singled out Sooyoung for special treatment, promising "24-hour fine dining-style mafia omakase" prepared exclusively for her, with food available "immediately, whenever needed."
When producers called him out for showing favoritism only to Sooyoung, Kwon didn't hesitate: "Yes."
His explanation went full romantic. "It can't be helped," he said. "For a man, a first love is something very difficult to forget — it seems like it will last a lifetime."
This wasn't his first time going public with the crush. Back in April, Kwon appeared on JTBC's 냉장고를 부탁해 in an episode featuring Hyoyeon and Tiffany, where he revealed he once went by the online nickname '수영남푠' — roughly "Sooyoung male fan" — during his school days.
Sooyoung recently confirmed the end of her 14-year public relationship with actor Jung Kyung-ho. Kwon, apparently, isn't waiting long to make his position known.
