Hani, the EXID member-turned-actress, returns to TV with a KBS 2TV weekend drama—her first since pausing work over her fiancé's patient death controversy.

An Hee-yeon, known as Hani from her EXID days, is back on television. Three years have passed since her last appearance. KBS 2TV's weekend family drama Love Comes (사랑이 온다) premieres July 25, marking her first weekend drama since she started acting.
She plays Han Gyu-rim, a side dish shop employee supporting her family. "It's an admirably strong character with a lot of love," she said. "Just watching is comforting, and it naturally makes you want to cheer for them."
Why take the role? "As the story unfolds, you can see Gyu-rim growing. I was very pleased with the process and direction of that growth, and it made me feel that I could really do my best for this Gyu-rim, so I gathered courage."
The return comes after a rough period. In September 2024, An Hee-yeon announced her engagement to psychiatrist Yang Jae-woong. A patient death at the psychiatric facility where Yang works as director led her to indefinitely postpone the wedding. She also withdrew from a scheduled entertainment program and stopped all activities. (The wedding remains unscheduled.)
Love Comes features Ha Seok-jin, Park Yu-na, Bae Jeong-nam, Kwon Hae-hyo, Yoon Yu-seon, Ryu Seung-soo, Jin Kyeong, Min Jin-woong, Lee Ju-yeon, Bae Yun-gyu, and Jung Bo-min.
